     Pastor Larry O'Brien and his wife Nena have served faithfully at Churchland Assembly of God since they founded the church in April of 1982.

     Pastor O'Brien is a leader in the Assemblies of God Tidewater Section, where he serves as the Sectional Presbyter.  He also serves on the board of Teen Challenge, a ministry that changes the lives of those who have been plagued by substance abuse.
